About Kevin Scarmack | Real Estate Professional & Developer
With more than 20 years of experience in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Kevin Scarmack brings a distinctive perspective to residential real estate and homebuilding, blending an intimate knowledge of the Asheville market with a passion for land, thoughtful design, and enduring quality.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business from East Carolina University, Kevin began his real estate career specializing in mountain land before expanding into residential real estate. In 2013, he co-founded Mountain Oak Properties, a boutique real estate firm located in Historic Biltmore Village, alongside two partners. Together, they built a firm dedicated to serving buyers and sellers throughout the greater Asheville area.
Years of working with buyers and sellers deepened Kevin’s appreciation for the relationship between a property's setting, its character, and its potential. That perspective ultimately led him to homebuilding, where he could bring his knowledge of real estate and his passion for the land together in the creation of exceptional homes.
Over the past decade, Kevin has worked alongside an experienced general contractor, developing a hands-on understanding of residential construction from the ground up. As a project manager on more than 20 homes, he has gained extensive experience guiding projects through the building process, with a particular focus on the details, materials, and execution that define a quality home.
Today, Kevin approaches each project with a commitment to thoughtful planning, careful execution, and lasting value. His combination of real estate expertise, construction experience, and attention to detail informs a building philosophy rooted in quality over quantity and a genuine appreciation for the distinctive landscapes and lifestyles of Western North Carolina.

Rob Poulin | General Contractor
With more than two decades of experience in construction, Rob Poulin brings a commitment to excellence, quality craftsmanship, and collaborative leadership to residential and commercial building throughout Western North Carolina.
Coming from a long line of contractors, Rob developed a deep appreciation for the building trades and the value of doing things right. After working as a contractor at Trillium from 2001 to 2005, he became a general contractor in 2006, building a diverse foundation of experience across the region.
Rob believes exceptional results begin with strong relationships. His collaborative approach, built on trusted partnerships with subcontractors and tradespeople, fosters the communication, attention to detail, and shared commitment to quality that define a successful project.
